sarah e cochran. i make art. i make happiness.

Curiosity is the main motive behind my creations. Passion and experimentation help to refine and expand those skills. Each piece and method is chosen by its ability to explore the variety of influences that excite me. Whether that inspiration comes from nature, technology, or fantasy.

Creating a piece is a process I prefer organic, often through freehand and free form techniques. I tend to focus more on contrast or color and detailed texture. However, I have a desire of portraying the beauty of the odd and overlooked aspects of nature and imagination with every artistic creation.

I am currently exploring abstract black and white illustrations, macro photography, and watercolor while residing in West Seattle. The progression of my art and abilities includes merging abstract textures and detailed organic lines with the glow and unpredictability of watercolor. Visit my links to see more art.
